Responsibilities

Network Integration Specialist

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Perform functional/technical assessments, process assessment/development, network engineering and strategy development. (L3 only) Serve as a senior member of the team as a project leader; provide expertise for complex initiatives.

Qualifications

 

 

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Education (L3,2,1): Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Certifications:
o L3: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, and ITILv3 or later Foundations required.
o L2: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ and ITIL v3 or later Foundations required.
o L3: CompTIA Security+ and ITIL v3 or later Foundations required.
• Experience:
o L3: Minimum of Eleven (11) to Fifteen (15) years’ professional experience managing DON/DOD IT transformation and modernization efforts across the range of DOTMLPF-P considerations. Experience must also include leading a team of 5 or more staff.
o L2: Minimum of Five (5) to Ten (10) years’ professional experience managing DON/DOD IT transformation and modernization efforts across the range of DOTMLPF-P considerations. Experience must also include leading a team of 5 or more staff.
o L1: Minimum of One (1) to Four (4) years’ professional experience managing DON/DOD IT transformation and modernization efforts across the range of DOTMLPF-P considerations. Experience must also include leading a team of 5 or more staff.

 

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: TS/SCI clearance required (a current SSBI within the five-year scope).
