Responsibilities

GENERAL DUTIES:

 

Gryphon is looking for a Senior System Administrator in Philadelphia, PA with information-technology and computer programming experience at NSWCPD and NAVSEA SEA 21. The Senior System Administrator will provide support to NSWCPD C225, who is responsible for management and associated system engineering services for NSWCPD's In-Service Ships & Cross Platform Engineering Group. Specific duties will include management and support for the System Health Assessment (Access Database) as well as development and maintenance of web applications integrating the SHA into the NSWCPD Intranet site. This will include development of front-end and back-end architecture and conversion of the Access Database into an Oracle database.

 

 

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor in Information Technology from an accredited college or university.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in information technology and computer programming efforts, including at least three (3) years supporting development of tools for NSWCPD and NAVSEA SEA21 programs.
  • MS Office Suite experience required

One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
