    Responsibilities

    Gryphon Technologies is hiring Database Developers to oversee user requirements, set-up, test, perform administration, manage modifications to database systems and ensure the performance of the system.  The Database Developer will also direct, plan, and coordinate security measures like data integrity, backup systems, and database security and provide technical expertise in the use of Database Management System (DBMS).  

     

    Duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Evaluate and recommends available DBMS products to support validated user requirements.
    • Oversee file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications.
    • Manage the development of data base projects.
    • Develop applications using complex concepts & processes
    • Perform multiple tasks at specialist level
    • Evaluate & recommend new technology & processes based upon cost, risk, mission
    • May oversee the work of lower level personnel

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Top Secret (TS) security clearance with an Active Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
    • Bachelor’s degree + 6 years of experience (OR Masters + 4 years, Associates + 8 years, or 8 years professional experience in relevant field)

    One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship required.
