    Responsibilities

    Gryphon Technologies has an immediate opportunity as a Senior Beam Control System Engineer located in Northeast United States! This position is a part-time direct position with benefits.

     

    Duties:

    As a Sr. Beam Control System Engineer, you will possess broad experience in all aspects of the theory & practice of Beam Control system development. Experience with the entire development cycle is required (e.g. requirements analysis, design synthesis, detail design, assembly, integration and test). The ability to clearly communicate technical information in written reports & briefings is highly desired.  

    • You will be familiar with assembly and performance testing of integrated beam control systems both in laboratory and outdoor environments.
    • You will be involved with beam control technology and subsystems to include tracking and pointing systems
    • You will be able to perform system engineering of directed energy system programs. This includes; modelling, simulation and analysis, requirements analysis, and system and subsystem specification generation.
    • You will interact with Government and Industry DE professionals in the performance of these duties.

    Qualifications

    Clearance:

    • This position requires a Top-Secret security clearance.

    Required Skills:

    • 20+ years of experience in system engineering of beam control and tracking systems
    • Familiarity with on-going US DoD directed energy weapon development programs.
    • 10+ years of experience in project management or technical direction of technology development programs.

    Education:

    • You must possess a Doctorate Degree in Physics or Engineering.
