    Gryphon Marine is seeking a Amphibious Training Team Lead in support of Commander Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP) Readiness Assessment Training Team to provide: 

    • Deck plate training assists.
    • Reporting, analysis, recommendations, corrective actions and post-action reporting with crews as they prepare for major evolutions, certifications and inspections.
    • Identify performance/operational weaknesses throughout the assists.
    • Provide training and expertise to support identified weaknesses and improve operational readiness.
    • Enhance ship's organic proficiency and capabilities.
    • Must have specific knowledge for US Navy AMPHIBIOUS Ship classes.


    Team Lead candidates must possess the following skill, knowledge, and experience requirements:


    -Over 25 years of supervisory experience in analyses, information system operations, and implementation of technical projects similar to those indicated in the PWS;

    -Supervisory main propulsion experience with Navy surface ship maintenance processes;

    -Extensive experience as shipboard Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) on multiple ships.

    -Extensive experience in Navy Ship main propulsion engineering on multiple ships;

    -Maintenance/training staff experience (e.g. Immediate Superior In Charge (ISIC), Type Commander (TYCOM), or Afloat Training Group);

    -Maintenance Staff experience;

    -In-depth knowledge of Navy ship depot level maintenance processes;

    -In-depth knowledge of the theory and workings of surface ship maintenance processes;

    -Under-graduate or associates degree (preferred) and extensive demonstrated experience in a management role.


    One must have exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. SECRET Security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship required
