    Responsibilities

    Provides on-site AWP maintenance support services to the SUPSHIP Newport News RCOH Planning Team. The candidate shall provide products listed below to develop and update the Availability Work Package (AWP) and Ship’s Force Work Package (SFWP). The candidate will provide an overview of actions worked.  At a minimum this overview will include: an Action Item Tracker; Government Furnished Information (GFI), AWP changes and AWP, delivery and updates; Field Modification Request (FMR) tracker for updates made to the AWP designating which FMR’s are from Design Liaison Requests (DLAR) and other normal growth work items.  Work closely with the RCOH execution Maintenance Planning Manager (MPM) providing support and data as requested. Attend meetings required to accomplish task objectives. These meetings will include periodic AWP reviews, progress reviews, weekly FMR reviews, and other special meetings related to the RCOH. 

     

    Administer Action Item records for RCOH programs. Maintain day-to-day data entry to include operating the computer at various reviews.  Resolve work package differences obtained by CSMP bumps for AWP input and tracking.  Process engineering requests and planning yard correspondence. Update various databases and the AWP when received from various organizations.

    Qualifications

    A minimum of ten years related experience is required. Associates degree in Business or a related discipline is desired. Experience in MS Excel and MS Access is a must.  Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. SECRET clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship required.

     

    One must have exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. One must have good problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. An active Secret Security Clearance will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
