Provide day to day support to the government customer.
Advise the government customer in matters pertaining to Security to include: Information Security Program, Physical Security Program, Industrial Security Program, Personnel Security Program, International Security Program, and Operational Security Program.
Manage Security requirements, objectives, strategy, metrics, and resolve conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources.
Develop and implement Security program policies and procedures.
First point of contact for Security and maintains the day to day operation of the Security and Information Operations Cell (SIOC), processes and tracks Requests for Action (RFA), Information and Support, maintains Security Violation/Incident Identification and Case Management System (SVICMS), and monitor existing security control systems for effective operation.
On a day to day basis, coordinate with other SEA 05 personnel (e.g., Local Security Coordinators (LSC’s), Executive Assistants (EA’s), and ACIO Action Officer) as well as NAVSEA Security personnel.
Inspect, identify, report, guide and monitor corrective actions on all aspects of security Compliance: Classification Management, Marking of Classified Material, Control Measures for Classified Information, Destruction, Transmission and Transportation, Safeguarding, Storage, Dissemination, Meetings and Visits, OPSEC, Computer Security (IA), Technology Protection and International Security.
Process requirements of the personnel security program to include verify assigned personnel are appropriately clear and verifying clearance and access for visitors.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Requires three to five years of experience in administration and operation support.
Security Management, Technical Writing, Research and Verbal Communication, Briefing, Knowledgeable in Word Processing, PowerPoint, and Excel, Information Security, Personnel Security, Physical Security, OPSEC, Industrial Security, Teamwork, Planning & Evaluation, Receiving, storing, and safeguarding of sensitive material.
Develop and implement program policies and procedures.
Able to produce high level reports and deliverables.
One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Secret Security Clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship required.
