    Responsibilities

    Manage aviation equipment engineering tasks in support of CVN 78 class design and development.  Integrate aviation equipment into the CVN 78 class design and development effort. Provide assistance to the Aviation Process IPT Leads. Coordinate with Aviation System Engineering Manager to integrate all aviation equipment / systems into the larger aviation requirements, systems and processes, and liaison with aviation TYCOM representatives. Coordinate CVN 78 class aviation equipment integration with other CVN 78 class System Engineering Managers. Support the CVN Government and Contractor design teams for all aviation equipment integration efforts.  Coordinate approval of all aviation equipment design products through the appropriate NAVAIR / NAVSEA management personnel to support CVN 78 class design and development efforts. Attend meetings and supply reports, as required.

    Qualifications

    A minimum of five years’ of related professional experience, and a High School diploma are required.

     

    One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Secret Security Clearance will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
