    Responsibilities

    This Entry Level position will be responsible for converting and editing U.S. Navy and Coast Guard technical Combat Systems Operational Sequencing System (CSOSS) procedures and drawings.

     

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Being able to decipher redlines (changes) on technical procedures and drawings made by validators (other team members) who recently visited updated ships;
    • Apply redlines to XML formatted procedures in accordance with strict editing standards;
    • Apply redlines to drawings in accordance with strict editing standards; 
    • Perform Quality Assurance checks on procedures and drawings to ensure compliance with editing standards; and
    • Ability to prioritize work and meet hard deadlines.

    Qualifications

     

    An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

     

    The candidate must have knowledge of desktop computers and excellent time management skills.

     

    Experience with Microsoft Office suite is required. Experience with EPIC Editor, Canvas, and AutoCad would be helpful but is not required.

     

    One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
