    Responsible for reviewing post Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) Post Delivery Test and Trials (PDT&T) events (as outlined within the individual test event data sheets in the Consolidated Test Database (CTDB) and identify systems in which Hull Mechanical and Engineering (HM&E)  Operational Requirements Documents (ORD) and Required Operational Capabilities and Projected Operational Environment (ROC POE) requirements and Measures of Effectiveness and Suitability as defined within COTF’s updated Integrated Evaluation Framework (IEF) can be evaluated to assist in assessing performance in preparation for IOT&E.

    • Review event test plans to ensure that identified requirements outlined during the Consolidated Test Working Group (CTWG) SME’s review have been captured and contains test objectives for evaluation. If not captured, work with test director to identify an activity or generate test objectives in which requirements can be evaluated.
    • Upon completion of HM&E test events, review test results and generate an assessment summary to determine if CVN 78 performance requirements (based on measures of effectiveness and suitability) have been met and report to the DT/IT/OT Manager and DT Reporting Manager on readiness for IOT&E.
    • Based on results and readiness for IOT&E, identify areas of concerns or gaps in requirements testing and assist the DT/IT/OT Manager in developing a strategy for evaluation and/or identify impact if requirement cannot be tested.Responsible for preparing and submitting periodic 78 DT summary reports and developing metrics to show how test results contribute to meeting the TEMP and ORD from a DT perspective for inclusion within the Annual Assessment Summary.Responsible for developing checklists, templates, SOPs, etc. based on lessons learned for incorporation within the Consolidated Test Management Plan.Responsible for submitting monthly report on accomplishments/ work completed to DT/IT/OT Manager and PAPM for T&E at the end of each month.


    Bachelor’s degree in engineering
    Minimum of four years’ experience in testing and evaluation of ship systems and components


    One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A SECRET Security Clearance will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
