    Responsibilities

    Qualified candidate will:

    • Provide direct life-cycle MCM and PC Class program management and logistics support to SEA21/PMS443L;
    • Provide life-cycle logistics, and fleet liaison support for MCM and PC Class Ship’s hull, mechanical, and electrical systems;
    • Coordinate and pro-actively participate in providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) by interfacing with the customer on a daily basis at all levels within their management.
    • Be a proven leader/active participant and customer representative in dealing with the Fleet (TYCOM, Squadron Supply Officers and Ship Supply Officers), NAVSUP, DLA, Regional Maintenance Centers, Ship Repair Facilities, In Service Engineering Agents (ISEA) and Configuration Data Manager (CDM) to ensure superior support is provided to the Fleet and Program Office;      
    • Plan, schedule, and coordinate MCM/PC ILS Working Group Weekly Meetings to keep a pulse on the ships in all AORs and ensure logistics issues supporting each ship class identified, is worked by the team and resolved.       Acts as a liaison to ensure resulting actions from these meetings are resolved in an accurate and timely manner;
    • Fully support monitoring the logistics support for Ship Change Documents (SCD) that identify modernization SHIPALTs being installed on Surface Ships;
    • Plan, schedule, and coordinate MCM/PC Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) meetings in support of each ship’s availabilities ensuring ILS deliverables identified in each SCD ILS Certification is provided to the ship or tracked until completion;
    • Participate in MCM Semi-Annual Readiness Advisory Group (RAG) and PC Operational Advisory Group (OAG) meetings by supporting PMS443L in drafting the briefs to identify key logistics successes and challenges and in participating, while assisting in presenting, as well as answering any logistics questions;
    • Travel to fleet AORs to conduct ILS site visit, participate in MCM and PC Support meetings with key management, engineering, technical and logistics personnel, tour key logistics warehouses and offices, and re-energize key alliances to assist in becoming the PMS443L Contractor Support SME for resolving future Bahrain, Sasebo, San Diego and Mayport logistics issues;
    • Interact and advise customers, through the application of specific program knowledge, in the execution of logistics program management tasks;
    • Provide representation in Integrated Product Teams, conferences, and meetings;
    • Access logistics databases (to include One Touch, FEDMALL, Commercial FEDLOG database i.e. LOGICOM) to identify critical parts/CASREP requisition status and then use this information to support expediting efforts with NAVSUP and DLA for improved fleet readiness;
    • Possess the ability to track, process, produce and distribute deliverables and monitor comment status; collect and analyze performance data; assess and quantify cost/ schedule/ performance and risk; and prepare and coordinate inputs for PMS 443L documentation, status reports, briefings and information inquiries;
    • Develop, review, edit and coordinate drafts with PMS 443L for program logistics documentation such as plans, schedules, briefings, reports, correspondence, or related material;
    • Provide other Logistics and Program Management support as required.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of fifteen to twenty years of experience is required;
    • A Bachelor's degree is required. A Master’s degree is a plus;
    • Retired Supply Corps Officer is a plus;
    • Prior NAVSEA Program Office experience is a plus;
    • PMP qualification is a plus.

    One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. An active Secret Security Clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship required.
