    • Support Senior Ship Design Manager (SDM) Technical Warrant Holder (TWH) in Specified Functional Area
    • Review cybersecurity aspects of Availability Work Packages, and New Construction in planning and execution
    • Liaison with TWH's and Engineering Agents in functional area
    • Oversee cybersecurity content in Detail Design Effort
    • Technical Issue Identification and Resolution
    • Review and approval recommendations for cybersecurity and CYBERSAFE certifications
    • Develop technical strategies for cybersecurity within NAVSEA
    • Complete required initial and recurring cybersecurity training
    • Assist in developing resource requirements
    • Assist in development of CYBERSAFE policy and guidance for NAVSEA program


    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum five’ experience in cyber
    • Ability to plan, design, and develop resilient machinery control systems and associated networks, firewalls, and boundary defense.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to plan and manage complex systems development and support programs involving  interaction with a variety of organizations, laboratories, field activities and contractors in the areas of information assurance and cybersecurity.
    • Knowledge of information assurance and cybersecurity strategies and requirements applicable to computer based, electrical and instrumentation, and control systems, and experience identifying and resolving technical issues in these areas.
    • Ability to develop a plan, evaluate, and incorporate the latest information assurance and cybersecurity lessons learned into technical plans and specifications governing subsequent system and component design development efforts

    One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Proven leadership skills are a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Secret Security Clearance will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
