Position requires staffing and all operational/administrative aspects of managing a work force performing warehouse/inventory/repair/distribution efforts at multiple facilities supporting the USMC Consolidated Storage Program (CSP). Must be proficient resourcing personnel,including sub-contractors, to meet the CSP mission. Ensure all all cost, schedule and performance goals are achieved. Candidate must be familiar with the DPAS Warehouse Management System. Take corrective actions for any cost, schedule and performance issues, while applying lessons learned. Ensure program quality objectives are met while maintaining a safe working environment. Must be able to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines while ensuring proper prioritizing. Must be responsible for alarm and security systems and be able to enforce operating instructions while also troubleshooting breakdowns and problem areas. Responsible for ensuring training of personnel, including safety is priority. Key contributor in the identification of risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
A minimum of a High School diploma is required.
Requires a minimum of five to seven years supervisory experience.
Experience managing large dispersed teams is critical and USMC Inventory/Supply experience is highly desired.
One must have good written communication, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Must have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
