Responsibilities

Support the Navy by providing on-site technical support for all SharePoint Initiatives. The SharePoint Administrator/Developer is responsible for the configuration, development, maintenance and administration of SharePoint 2010. The position will engage with Navy and Civilian clients.

  • Ability to independently initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks, as identified;
  • Design/develop custom dashboards using out-of-the-box capabilities and SharePoint designer; and
  • Provide technical expertise to develop, support, enhance, troubleshoot and maintain SharePoint 2010 or newer.

The SharePoint Developer/Administrator will be responsible for the following though not limited to: Manage the daily functions of the SharePoint environment; Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, and repair SharePoint Server components and service applications; Implement site collections out-of-the-box/CSOM solutions that meet specific business requirements; Design, implement and execute backup procedures for stored content.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree is required, bachelor's degree desired
  • At least two years of experience in SharePoint Design, Web GUI design, Development, and Implementation of moderate to complex workflow systems
  • Two years or more Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and greater experience
  • Two years or more Oracle DB experience
  • Familiar with SQL backup strategies and SharePoint backup strategies
  • Experience with web based programming such as HTML, Javascript, JQuery. Knowledge of XML and XSLT
  • Two years experience with SharePoint development tools such as SharePoint Designer experience and  Visual Studio if web part creation is a requirement
  • Two years experience C# or VB.Net experience for web part development
  • Must have at least two years of experience developing and managing customer SharePoint requirements
  • Must have at least two years of experience with tools used to manage and develop SharePoint solutions. Tools include but not limited to SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio and various third party tools as required.
  • Two years or more of experience supporting an Enterprise-wide new development of SharePoint 2010 or newer
  • Basic understanding of SharePoint Farm Architecture such as 3 tier server configuration
  • Experience implementing SharePoint Sites and Site Collections as well as Libraries and Lists

One must have exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. Security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship required.
