    Provide subject matter expertise to equipment technical assistance teams in the assessment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of shipboard equipment, and provision of advisory technical support and training to crew.



    A minimum of ten years engineering management experience related to navy ship maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems is required; with five years experience in marine or mechanical engineering; three years experience in detailed design analysis of navy ship rotating machinery and/or piping systems.


    A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.


    One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
