Responsibilities

Responsible for Systems Engineering pertaining to aircraft carrier hull, mechanical or electrical systems, mission systems, aviation support systems, and/or combat systems.  Duties also include reviews of shipbuilder deliverables, development of program status briefings, presentations, and other reports to Senior Navy Officials.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and ten to twelve years of experience in Ship Design, Ship Systems Engineering is required.

 

One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Secret Security Clearance will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
