    Service Center (IDESC) Support Lead

    Candidate will provide IT knowledge management support within the U.S. Navy’s Amphibious Warfare Program Office, PMS 377, coordinating knowledge management efforts with all program stakeholders and personnel. Candidate will lead the program’s Integrated Data Environment Service Center (IDESC) support and will ensure all work product and services meet quality standards.


    • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, although educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than nine years applicable work experience.
    • Must have at least fifteen years of experience managing an IDE for a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) and the ability to navigate the Navy acquisition process on a strict schedule.*
    • Must have expertise for the product Life-Cycle Management (LCM), requirements gathering, and cyber security of the Windchill IDESC or equivalent knowledge management system.
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with flexibility to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
    • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office applications and knowledge management tools.


    * Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

    • Up to 5 % travel may be required.

    One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Secret Security Clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship required.
