Senior Landing Craft Technical Support Lead

Candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the Landing Craft technical contractor support team, its associated tasking, and submission of deliverables in support of the U.S. Navy’s Amphibious Warfare Program Office, PMS 377. Candidate will support the acquisition, operations, and sustainment of landing craft and will coordinate with PMS 377 stakeholders and personnel, as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, although educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than nine years applicable work experience.
  • Must have at least ten years of experience supporting a DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) program performing technical assessments, budget planning, program management, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).*
  • Must have at least five years of supervisory experience and demonstrated knowledge of DoD acquisition, technical, contract management, and U.S. Navy shipbuilding ILS processes and procedures.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with flexibility to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired.

* Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.



  • Washington, DC.
  • Up to 25% travel may be required.

One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Secret Security Clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship required.
