Responsibilities

A minimum of ten years experience in design, maintenance or support engineering for shipboard Combat, ASW, MIW, C4I and USW systems, including an additional eight years of managerial experience directing engineering efforts.  Must demonstrate proven ability to define objectives/requirements, direct, coordinate and complete project efforts.  Must interface with government personnel and provide status reports.  Three years of experience providing program management support for technical assists, ship repair, availability planning and TYCOM operations.

Qualifications

A minimum of fifteen years related experience is required, ten of which must be focused on design, maintenance and support engineering for shipboard Combat, ASW, C4I, MIW and USW systems.  Eight years of managerial experience directing engineering teams is required. Three years of program management experience supporting shipboard technical assists/assessments, ship repair, availability planning and TYCOM operations is required.  Must have an ability to effectively deal with government personnel, prepare presentations and status reports.  Familiarity with ISEA, Planning Yard and OEM organizations is a plus.

 

A Bachelor's degree is required.

 

One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
