Position will provide direct support to the PMS 379 Government Furnished Systems (GFS) Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) and Assistant Program Managers (APMs) for CVN 79/80 within the PEO Carriers organization. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the PMS 379 GFS organization in maintaining Contractual and Planning Schedules A, B, and C for CVN 79 and CVN 80;
  • Tracking Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI) deliveries;
  • Developing and maintaining configuration control of Ship Project Directives (SPDs) for CVN 79 and CVN 80; and
  • Financial tracking of the GFE suite.


Candidate should posses a Bachelor's Degree and have a minimum of nine years of Ship Acquisition experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and strong communication skills are required.


One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Secret Security Clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship required.
