Responsibilities

  • Designs, installs, maintains and coordinates the use of the network systems, and life cycle databases and applications (e.g., iNAVSEA, CDMS, CORCON suite of tools including CCIMS, CADET, and M&SWP).
  • Evaluates complex hardware and software and peripheral equipment for large, complex networks.
  • Manages network performance and troubleshoots complex problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network.
  • Manages and maintains, create/deletes user accounts, maintains and updates system security plans on all platforms.
  • Implements and/or manages network policies, procedures and standards.
  • Enforces security procedures.

Qualifications

Junior:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, management information systems is desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a security clearance.

Mid:

  • Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience in a data center environment
  • Minimum of five years of related professional experience.

Senior:

  • Requires Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience in a data center environment.
  • Minimum of fifteen years of related professional experience.

One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
