    Responsibilities include:

    • Provide technical support to SEA 05V on the following Hull Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Systems on aircraft Carriers:
      • Aircraft elevators;
      • Aircraft elevator doors/hangar division doors;
      • Weapons elevators;
      • Weapons handling systems/magazines;
      • Stores elevators;
      • Anchor windlass;
      • Mooring/warping capstans;
      • Solid cargo UNREP equipment (sliding padeyes);
      • Fueling at Sea stations;
      • Material handling equipment;
      • Boat handling systems;
      • Steering gear mechanical system;
      • Fire detection; and
      • Magazine and miscellaneous sprinkling control and indicating.
    • Review logistics products associated with HM&E systems and provide technical and operational feedback.
    • Act as Point of Contact for SEA 05V for listed systems with technical warrant holders and other CVN stakeholders.
    • Advise Ship Design Managers, Program Offices and other stakeholders on design of the listed systems.


    A minimum of ten years related experience is required. Experience with operation and maintenance Aircraft Carrier Auxiliary Equipment  is a must. Military training or education is required.


    One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
