Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for systems maintenance, repairs, installation, and troubleshooting of electronic systems, such as:

  • Mission Integration Display system, comprised of components such as TVs, transmitters, receivers, scalers, monitors, power supplies, and tuners.
  • Cisco Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Call Manager servers, as well as Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
  • Electronic Security System - composed of encryption devices, servers, cameras and switching devices.
  • Direct to Sailor TV System - dual antenna configuration comprised of a support pedestal, inertial measurement unit, power supply, single board controller, servo drive, central control unit, multi-switch, blonder tongue, and signal level meter.

- Working knowledge of  Windows, VMWare and Cisco operating systems, COTS hardware and software, and audio/visual equipment.

 

- Working Knowledge of ePolicy Orchestator, HBSS, ACAS

 

- Responsible for configuration, maintenance, desktop and end user support.

  

- Monitor, sustain and manage the configuration for network switches, routers, and firewalls.

Qualifications

A High School diploma and a minimum of five years related experience is required.

 

Ability to attain and maintain Information Assurance certification required.

 

Prior Maritime/Navy experience is desired.

 

One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
