The candidate will develop, update, and review technical documentation associated with HM&E systems and equipment installed on U.S. Navy nuclear vessels. Provide engineering support to the design, repair, installation, modification, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of US Navy equipment and systems. Support includes review of technical documentation, procedure development and implementation, as well as equipment and parts procurement assistance. Provide technical support for NSWCCD related activities with various Navy Type Commanders and NAVSEA programs/projects.
The candidate will develop, update and review logistical documentation associated with HM&E systems and equipment. Responsibilities include the following:
The candidate shall provide training support to sponsors for in-service and new acquisition ship systems/equipment. Efforts include coordination and documentation of Aircraft Carrier Training Planning Process Methodology (TRPPM) reports, Navy Training System Plans (NTSP), and curriculum development projects.
The candidate shall perform training Front End Analysis (FEA), training gap analysis, and Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA). Efforts include management and development of system training curriculum and Training System Installation Plans (TSIPs).
A minimum of ten years experience in the development, updating, or use of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is required.
Experience in ILS shall include Central Data Management Authority for Navy Systems and equipment to identify material and logistic requirements for ship systems and repairs.
Must have experience with US Navy logistics support documentation, systems and applications including Preventive Maintenance System (PMS), Technical Manuals (TM), Engineering Operational sequencing System (EOSS), Allowance Parts List (APLs), and Coordinated ONboard Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL).
One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
