Provide program management, engineering, technical, and logistics support to NSWC Philadelphia Division for U. S. Navy aircraft carrier Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems and equipment.


Serve as a general engineer in the support of NSWC Philadelphia C23 Aircraft Carrier Program Office.

Specifically, the candidate will:

  • Assist with technical/engineering reviews and assessments;
  • Support ongoing process improvement efforts;
  • Streamline processes;
  • Function as the technical point of contact;
  • Provide technical recommendations for adjudication of discrepancies;
  • Provide technical and engineering support for modernization efforts;
  • Work with all stakeholders;
  • Provide technical support as necessary for in-service and new construction carrier programs;
  • Support meetings;
  • Support development of presentations; and
  • Prepare and provide presentations, correspondence and write papers.


A minimum of three years related experience is required. Three years of experience in Navy ship systems, including mechanical/electrical system design, repair, installation, modification, operation, maintenance and testing of Navy equipment or systems is required. Experience with aircraft carrier shock is desired.


BS degree in Engineering or Maritime equivalent from an accredited college, university or Maritime Academy is required.


One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
