The candidate will provide engineering and technical support to the U.S. Navy including programmatic and in-service engineering requirements.


The candidate will serve as a server/network administrator for an NSWCPD software program and will provide maintenance support for the Metrics Program Management (MPM) program including:

  • Operating System, Application & Security Patches & Updates
  • ATO support
  • System Migration to the NEDC-AWS Cloud

The candidate will provide MPM system monitoring and provide Help Desk Support, including troubleshooting issues with:

  • System
  • Network
  • Security Issues






  • Knowledge of NSWCPD Metrics Program Management (MPM) is mandatory.
  • DoD Cyber Security Workforce IAT Level 2 Certified is highly desired.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or relevant related field of study) from an accredited college or university is mandatory.
  • Ten years of experience performing enterprise software development is mandatory.
  • Experience with business and technical level experience in the software industry is mandatory.
  • Five years experience with current Microsoft Enterprise Architecture and development.
  • Three years experience performing oversight and program management for the development of business systems such as MPM.
  • Knowledge of Navy Systems and programs desired.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers and their systems desired.

One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
